Labor
Labor is under warranty for thirty (30) days from the date of completion of work. You must notify us within thirty (30) days by calling our office at (833) 964-0518. Please note that the labor warranty only applies specifically to work done and does not cover labor for unrelated repairs.
Parts
Parts used are under warranty for ninety (90) days from the date of installation. If any part that we install fails within ninety (90) days from the date of installation, we will replace the failed part at no cost for the material, however if that failure occurs outside of the aforementioned labor warranty, you will be responsible for the cost of the labor. An estimate for labor will be provided. You must notify us within ninety (90) days by calling our office at (833) 964-0518. This warranty only applies to parts supplied by Deluxe Appliance Repair, which are listed on the front side of the Work Order Invoice. Deluxe Appliance Repair, does not provide any warranty for any parts used that are not supplied by Deluxe Appliance Repair. Shipping fees for any large or bulky item that requires special handling will be billed to the customer or any part warranty replacement outside of ninety (90) days from the date of installation.
Note
The parts warranty applies only to "mechanical and functional" parts. Parts that are not "mechanical and functional" include, but are not limited to cosmetic parts, plastic parts, trim, buttons, knobs and switches. Deluxe Appliance Repair reserves the right to determine what parts are considered "mechanical and functional".
We offer this warranty for COD customers only (as selected on front of the invoice under "Type of Service" field). However, if we perform work for you while you are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, home warranty or extended warranty that has since expired, we will extend this coverage to you so long as you accept the labor estimate provided.
The aforementioned Labor and Parts warranties do not apply to any warranty company, nor do they supersede any contractual agreement.
An estimate as required (Section 9844 of the California Business and Professions Code) for repairs shall be given to the customer by the service dealer in writing, and the service dealer may not charge for work done or parts supplied in excess of the estimate without prior consent of the customer. Where provided in writing, the service dealer may charge a reasonable fee for services provided in determining the nature of the malfunction in preparation of a written estimate for repair. For information contact the Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair, Department of Consumer Affairs.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a partial or a full cancellation of repairs, pursuant to the COD Amendment, you agree to forfeit the "Diagnosis Fee" for each appliance (for COD repairs) and/or the "Deductible" for each work order (for warranty repairs). You also understand that you will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee on all parts ordered for the repairs. In addition, if you are not satisfied with the repairs due to a cosmetic issue or a manufacturer defect, you understand that you will not be eligible for a refund or a waiver of liability from the Company, and will still be responsible to pay off the amount in the "Balance Due" field.
